    Default sentence error

    may I know why this sentence is wrong?
    I booked your ticket already for this March.

    It's wrong in BrE and AusE, at least, because you've used 'already' with the simple past tense. That is, you've used an adverb that goes with the present perfect tense, as in "I've booked them already for this March"
    Americans might say the sentence is OK.
