"this way" or "like this"

I am not sure when in which cases I should use those phrases. What is the rule for that?
For example when I talk about the weather, which option is correct:
1) It is cloudy and it's going to stay like this for two days.
2) It is cloudy and it's going to stay this way for two days.
?

Both are fine.
