When I was a lad, I was made to clean my room by my mum.
More natural: When I was a kid, my mum made me clean my room.
Hi,
1- I was made by my mom to clean my room when I was just a lad.
2- I was made to clean my room by my mom when I was just a lad.
Could you please tell me where must I put 'by mom mom' in the sentence I have written? (My opinion is number 2 is OK, but I don't know sentence one is OK or not).
Thanks.

We seem to be getting a lot of questions about passive constructions recently. If teachers and/or coursebooks insist on this, there is nothing we can do about it, but learners need to know that most native speakers tend to prefer the active unless there is good reason to use the passive.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
