    Default falling leaves on the ground

    Dear all,

    There are a lot of [fallen/falling] leaves on the ground.

    In the sentence above, "fallen" sounds better to me, but is "falling" totally wrong?

    Yes it is. If the leaves are on the ground, they are no longer falling.
