As an NES, but not an English specialist:
I would have no problem with the sentence per se, other than that it feels a bit "long winded".
You could say:
"We will notify the students concerned of the procedures necessary to obtain a new Student ID card."
or more simply:
"We will advise the students involved how to obtain a new Student ID card."

PS: Remember to start your sentences with a capital letter.
PPS: I, myself, regularly end up writing long sentences, when I don't have the time to write short ones!
