English homework help
I was asked by my teacher to write 10 examples of S+V+DO and 10 examples of S+V. The problem is I was in the restroom when she explained what S+V+DO and S+V was. Can you explain what these abreviations stand for so I can get my homework done? Thank you.

Re: English homework help
S ; Subject
V ; verb
Do ; Direct Object
S + V -> I sleep, I walk, She went and so on.
In this case, a verb doesn't need an object.
S + V + DO -> like, want, have and so on.
These verbs are called transitive verb.
They need Objects to complete the sentences.
I like you.
I want some water.
I have lunch.
