I would like to know if there is any difference in meaning between to do a film and to make a film.

So, you can use both word combinations if you want to say that someone acts in a film.
But still, can you say that someone did a film if you want to tell that he / she created it ?

I'd be more likely to use 'make' for the work of the director, but 'do' wouldn't worry me.![]()
