Do you say “dependent from”?
I thought it should be “dependent on” and “independent from”.
But I encountered the following sentence.
PrPc expression seems to be dependent from actively secreting columnar lactocytes.
And I found many “dependent on”s by Google.
Please tell me if the above “dependent from” has the same meaning as “dependent on”.
I'd use 'on'.
Thank you, tdol!![]()
So, Is "dependent from" acceptable or unacceptable?
Could anybody answer please?
I wouldn't use it and would underline it if marking, but prepositional use does change.![]()
I see. Thank you very much!![]()
