| 1 - flame 2 - shine 3 - sparkle 4 - flare 5 - shimmer 6 - glimmer 7 - glisten 8 - glint ...and if you have more. Since I cannnot find a difference among them, can you please associate an object to eache of that so that i can understand the real meaning? For example: shine - sun glitter - star ... and so on Please help me! Thanks a lot! |

| Hello Mass Here are some: 1 - flame ] like a piece of newspaper in a bonfire. 2 - shine ] like a well-polished floor. 3 - sparkle ] like a diamond. 4 - flare ] like magnesium powder, thrown on fire. 5 - shimmer ] like light reflected from moving silk or from a goldfish moving in water. 6 - glimmer ] like a distant candle in the dusk. 7 - glisten ] like the scales of a fish, or the flesh of someone who has just emerged from water. 8 - glint ] like a tiny vein of iron embedded in a piece of quartz.
