Talking 34-some sentences

Dear all

Hello

What does it mean when they say?

1-He had had a stroke. He was aphasic, they explained to the girl.

2- From ward to ward

Thanks a million

Matilda,

Nr.1 -> He had had a stroke = it's a loss of brain function caused by a blood vessel (it has nothing to do with a heart attack) / He was aphasic = He was unable to speak (That's a typical feature of what a stroke may cause. It depends in which part (left or right) of your brain the person has had this stroke.

Nr2 -> I have no idea, can't you give us any more information please, might make things easier here

Kind Regards
