Hi,
If we have a phrase carry sth out (it's from Cambridge Advance Learner's Dictionary), why it is used as carry out sth? For instance: I have carried out this procedure. Why not I have carried this procedure out? I cannot understand then why it is not carry out sth.
Thanks in advance,
Nyggus
You can use either, unless you're using a pronoun, which must come before the particle, or whatever you call it.![]()
