Hi there,

I am Reza Kassaei, from Iran. I'm 21 and have been studying English for almost 8 years. I teach English in an English school here, but do come up with some minor problems from time to time. The one that has put me under stress recently is this:

When do we end a word with 'ance' and when with 'ence' ?

For example, is it spelled existence or existance?

Why?
