| my question is: what is the vb pattern following foresee? My Oxoford dictionary says foresee + that clause I found foresee + -ing form. Is it correct? Thanks anan_pass |

| In the present tense, the verb 'foresee' requires a subordinate clause to follow it. Such as 'I foresee that the weather will change' or I foresee the weather will change' they essentially the same except 'that' has been ellipsed in the second example (a common practice in English). |
