skating my very best
Does it make sense to say "skating my very best"?
Can "skate" be a transitive verb for the objct of "my very best" of is "my very best" just an adverb describing "skating"?
11)"I would love to win an Olympic gold medal," she said. "This is a long-term goal but I am just taking each competition as it comes. I am not focused on results, but on skating my very best every time I compete."
Re: skating my very best
