She puts so much oil in food/she put so much oil in food?
which one is correct?

It would have to be the first one. She puts so much oil in food means she puts a lot of oil in food in general. The second sentence would have to read she put so much oil in the food to make sense, and would mean that she put a lot of oil in a specific meal.

You could also say in 'her food'.
