    Default Hop around

    hi!!
This phrasal verb appears in this lyrics:
    Old Godzilla was hopping around
Tokyo City like a big playground
when suddenly Batman burst from the shade
and hit Godzilla with a Batgrenade.
I guess the verb is "to hop". I, first, thought it was "to hope" but then I saw the double p.

    Thank you very much!

It's 'hop', which is to jump around, especially on one leg, though I'd imagine Gozilla probably used both.

It's literal- jump from place to place, often without an apparent sequence
