    Default anxious for etc

    Dear teachers,

    Could you please explain the follwoing multiple choice?

    The critical think wants to know. He/She is ____________ for acts and concepts.

    a. anxious b. eager c. hungry d. starving

    The answer is "c". But I can't see why "a" and "b" are not correct.
