Can I have some simple tips on how to write better in essays without any careless mistakes?

Well, the best advice I can offer is: When you've finished writing your essay, read it through very carefully once or twice. If possible, take a break before checking it.

You won't find all of your careless mistakes that way, but you should find some.

And take comfort: professional writers make careless mistakes all the time.
