Behaviour Hi teacher,
what are the differences between between Scare and affraid?

Re: Behaviour scare is a verb; it means, to frighten someone. BE scared and BE afraid are adjectives, meaning, to feel fear.
[1] They scare us. <present; They frighten us.>
[2] They scared us. <past; They frightened us.>
[3] We are scared (of them). <adjective; We feel fear>
[4] We are afraid (of them). <adjective; We feel fear>
