If you are the inventor of a word then it is up to you to decide how to use it. There is no precedent for how to use it "correctly". The inventor of the word decides that. Whether the word will "catch on" or not is another matter.

Consider this: Is it a noun? Is it a verb? Is it an adjective?

Are there variations of it that will allow it to be more than one of those?

For example: happy-adjective, happily-adverb, happiness-noun

You should write a definition first. After that, you can decide its proper usage. If the word really "catches on", other people might decide on its usage for you. Start with a definition.
