| I have a friend who informed me today that tone can not be characterized as dogmatic because "dogmatic refers to principles or written rules and not people or their traits etc" Any comments are greatyl appreciated!! |

| I feel that a person can be dogmatic- if they have very fixed principles, then they're dogmatic and it's hard to separate the person from the views. I think extending it to a tone might be stretching things, though. |
