Tone be Characterized as Dogmatic?
Can tone of speech, words, etc. of a person be characterized as dogmatic? If so, what is the reasoning behind your answer?
I have a friend who informed me today that tone can not be characterized as dogmatic because "dogmatic refers to principles or written rules and not people or their traits etc"
Any comments are greatyl appreciated!!

Re: Tone be Characterized as Dogmatic?
I feel that a person can be dogmatic- if they have very fixed principles, then they're dogmatic and it's hard to separate the person from the views. I think extending it to a tone might be stretching things, though.
