Talking 64-crime number

Dear all

Hello

As you know, when a criminal is sent to the jail, they give him a code that shows who he is. What do they call this code?
It is a code or sometimes a number.
Thanks a million

It's called a JIN, or just IN.

JIN: Jail Identification Number
IN: Identification Number
