Default about "a dream come true"

hello,

I know in speaking we often say sentence like this," It's really a dream come true."

But I always have trouble interpreting " a dream come true" grammatically.

Does it mean" a dream (that has) come true"??

thanks

Paula

Talking Re: about "a dream come true"

Of course yes

a dream that HAS COME true.
in speaking, we can omit the parts that are not necessary, and every one can understand the meaning although that speci part is omitted

hope that helps

Matilda
