Hands in Tow

Is this a valid phrase, used commonly in English? I mean to use it to mean --"When we are walking together, hand-in-hand" -- as if in the aisle, getting married -- So, I want to say that poetically. The earlier line ends with "-- what you KNOW" and I want to end this line as "--- Hands in TOW"

It does rhyme, but it doesn't carry the sense for me.
