    Default Present continuous vs present simple in the following sentence

    Should I say :

    When something is getting on your nerves it's irritating you and it's annoying to you.

    OR

    When something gets on your nerves it irritates you and annoys you.

    OR

    When something is getting on your nerves it irritates you and annoys you.

    Any other options ?
