Default Need help on correcting a sentence, thanks a lot! T_T

I cannot stop thinking about what father told us, those horrible incidents that happened in these few weeks.

Could anyone help correct the above sentence? Thanks for helping! T_T

Try:
  • I cannot stop thinking about what Father told us about those horrible incidents that happened during those few weeks.

Do you think that says what you wanted to say?

:)

Thanks! Do we need to capitalize the "F" in father when it stands on its own without the word "my"? Would it be better to add the possessive pronoun "my" when talking about one's own father?
Thanks again, Ronbee! ^o^

It is traditional to capitalize father when it is used as a name. (That, of course, applies to mother too.) Example:
  • Mother said I could go, but Father said I couldn't.
Neither way is better than the other.
