    Question Rain and snow

Is there any English term (phrase?) to name the action of raining and snowing at the same time?

The difference may not be that clear to you, but to natice speakers there is a difference. Sometimes it's hard to hear the differences in other languages, but the first is a short sound and the second a longer one to us.
