hi
Is there any site where I could download children's songs (melodies & lyrics)?
I would appreciate your help.
thanks in advance
many thanks bestc
You can also download children's songs from torrent sites. But using torrent sites for downloading is a matter of controversy, not sure whether it's legal or illegal.
As long as you actually own a physical copy of what you're downloading it's legal. The law differs country to country, but I know that some things (such as game ROM's) can be downloaded legally without owning a physical copy, provided that they are deleted within 24 hours.Originally Posted by explorelang

You can find lyrics to kids songs, with midis (tunes), scores, mp3's and some YouTube videos on Mama Lisa's World.
If you want to hear songs - another great way to do this is to find the lyrics to the song you're interested in and then go to YouTube and see if they have a video rendition of it.
MySpace also has some recordings of kids songs. If you go to the Music section and type in the name of the song, you may be able to listen to it.
Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions!
Cheers!

I can't help you out with where to get them, but I saw Neil Sedaka a couple of weeks ago on a talk show. He has re-written and recorded some of his big hits of the 60s and 70s as children's songs.
"Where the boys are", a big Connie Francis hit, is now "Where the TOYS are" and "Breaking up is hard to do" has become "Waking up is hard to do". What he performed sounded really good. They were catchy tunes 40 years ago, and still are in their new form today.
Good luck.
