It means "don't be sarcastic".

For example:

Wife: "I love the way you dance like your dad when he's drunk."
Husband: "Don't get funny with me, dear. I've seen the way you dance after a couple of glasses of wine."

Or if you're mugging someone, it's another way of warning them not to try to resist.
