I was in grade school in the forties and I can still remember Miss Kronin "drilling" into us that it was incorrect to say "I graduated high school". She always told us that one graduated "from" high school. More and more I read and hear people say someone graduated such and such and I see Miss Kronin saying NO! What is correct?

I would still use 'from' with the place and 'in' with the subject. However, there is a tendency to use fewer prepositions nowadays. Formally, Miss Kronin's position would still be the one commonly held:
