    Default howver as conjunction

    Can 'however' be used as a conjunction after a comma, as in
    'It was an excellent movie and the special effects were amazing, however it was not as good as the original.'

    You will see it used that way, but many would say it is not right and 'however' should come after a full stop or a semi-colon.
