    Question cleft sentence

    Hello, Sir.
    Re: 'He came at midnight.'

    1. When emphasizing, Can I convert the sentence above like the following ? Is it correct?

    It was at midnight that he came.

    2. Is it possible to replace that by when?

    Welcome, isahne.

    It-clefts have the following structure. (Note, It, X, and that/who are all nominal).

    It + Be + X + that/who.

    EX: It was at midnight that he came.
