Hi all!
I have a question:which sentence is correct:
1.he was made a fool.
2.he was made to be a fool.
3.They suggested that the test should be made easier.
4.They suggested that the test should be made to be easier.
please explain to me why it's right!!

He was made a fool of.

3 & 4- Both are OK, but 3 sounds more natural to me.
