Hello,
Are the following sentences correct?
"However, intuition makes us to suppose that this approach may give rise to rejecting solutions that are either optimum or may be connections between the points (stratification) considered in a particular step and the optimum points (or the path leading to the optimum points)."
"The formula considered does not directly involve the parameters searched for."
(I know, I know, preposition at the end of the sentence.) Should it maybe be "The formula considered does not involve directly the parameters searched for," or maybe "The formula considered does not involve the parameters searched for directly," or maybe each sentence has slightly different meaning?
Thanks in advance,
Nyggus
makes us to suppose- makes us suppose
either optimum- optimal sounds better to me, but I am no scientist
2 You can avoid the preposition by using 'sought'
