Default Need advice on the verb form: to cry or crying. Thanks, teachers ^^

Dear teachers,

Question 1:
I was wondering if it is correct to say:He thought that it was no use to cry over spilt milk.

Question 2:
Should I use "What" or "Which" in the following question?
Q: "What" or "Which" ball games did you play when you were young?
A: I played football, basketball, tennis and hockey.

Thanks sooooo much for advising, teachers.

1- I'd use 'crying'. 'No use to' normally comes before a noun- it's no use to me.
2 You can use either.
