Default ambiguous sentence?

A) The woman you love didn't save your life. The woman I love did.

Can't this mean:
1. The woman I love saved my life.
and also:
2. The woman I love saved your life.

No. It can only mean 2.

"Did" in the second sentence is a place-holder for the verb and its object in the first sentence, so it translates as:

The woman you love didn't save your life. The woman I love saved your life.

Only second meaning is correct.

The woman you love didn't save your life. The woman I love did (save your life).

You only leave out that which is already present in the first sentence.

How about:
I love you.

A. So do I.
B. Me too.

Would you say A and B mean I love myself?

No, the both mean "I love you, too". Sentence B is usually considered informal and, by some people, grammatically incorrect; sentence A is aways correct.
