Are the following sentences correct?

1. "Following the most common from the practical point of view approach, which was also applied by Smith (2003), we will consider ..."

2. "The problem is that the algorithm is to be executed in each domain independently; this issue begs a question, how to decide about the parameters of the algorithm."

3. "Since this is the case, change the last vector element in such a way that the last group contains five elements." (or "that the last group will contain..."?)
