We can use the present tense in expressing future action like "The plane leaves at 8:45 tonight." But I know that only a few verbs can be used in this way: e.g. open, close, begin, end, start, finish, arrive etc...If so, Do the 3 following sentences have the same meaning?Does the verb "visit" also behaves this way?
1. My parents will visit Canada on May 15.
2. My parents are going to visit Canada on May 15.
3. My parents visit Canada on May 15.
Thanks!
They are all OK. You'll hear 'visit' being used for scheduled future events in the news when talking about political visits, etc.![]()
