Default Did he saw it?
Could someone please explain to me why a person cannot use "saw" like so: Did he saw it?

I know it's wrong, but I can't explain why. Thanks for the help.

Never mind, I figured it out...

When using an auxiliary verb (do), you use the infinitive form after it. I have a lot to learn.
