    Default facilities

    Hello,

    Would you say:

    office facilities or office devices

to describe office equipment such as scanners, printers, binders, shredders in general terms?

May the first one be taken mistakenly for an office lavatory or kitchenette?

    Thank you,
    Ewelina

    Hello Ewelina

Yes, "office facilities" usually refers to toilets, kitchen areas, etc. "Facilities" is also used as a general term to cover such things as provision of electrical power, lighting, fire equipment, etc.

I wouldn't say "office devices". For printers, scanners, etc. I would say "IT equipment" or "peripheral devices" or "peripherals". For binders, shredders, laminators, etc. I would say "office equipment".

    Bye
