Question Sentence 'Can you push this along'

Can somebody tell me whether "push this alog" is an idiom or some different thing. Also, When I speak english, I don't use "idioms" and "phrases". Can somebody send me list of commonly used idioms and phrases, so that I can bring them to use in my conversation.

Thank You
