    Default own?

    Hi,
Does anyone know the meaning of 'own' in the following sentences?
    1) This movie owns.
    2) The games owns it.
I checked dictionary, but it only says about 'of belonging' or 'to possess something'. But these don't seem to fit into here.
According to the context, I sometimes guess it could mean 'This movie rocks.' or something, like a positive comment. I'm not sure thought.

    Thanks!

I wasn't familiar with the term, but it does appear to be used with the meaning you suggest.

oh, I'm a bit surprised. I saw people using this term quite often in some forums (mainly forums relating to entertainment talks). ... but I never dare to use it because I simply couldn't find its meaning from the dictionary.
Anyway, thanks for your reply :D
