| Re: correct tense I studied hard last week. Because you are mentioning "last week" and it seems you are not studying anymore. |

| Re: correct tense It's 'the last weeks', which haven't necessarily finished. 1 & 2 are both possible, but 1 is more natural to me because it adds emphasis to how hard the work has been.  |
