Talking 96-I'm confused with this sentences

    Dear all

    Hello

There is a sentence which I'm not sure about its grammar. Plz tell me if it is correct and if not, plz tell me the correct form.

Although I have more grey hairs, but that is nothing that couldn't be solve.

I have two questions about this sentence.
    1- gray hairs
    2-nothing that couldn't be solved
The second question must have a negative meaning; I mean it means that there is nothing wrong with my gray hair. But I'm surprised because the two negative morphemes the writer used.

    Thanks in advance

    Matilda

    Hello Matilda

The sentence is incorrect as it stands.

Here's an amended version, which may bring out the intended meaning a little:

    1. Although I have more grey hairs now, that's nothing that a bottle of hair-colouring couldn't solve.

To have grey hairs = to be getting old. "That's nothing that X couldn't solve" means "That is a thing that X could solve". (The double negative is used for emphasis and stylistic effect: the two negatives cancel each other out.)

    The sentence therefore means:

1a. I have more grey hair than I had when I was younger. However, that isn't a problem: I can easily dye it.
