Cool Is "Ladies' Auxiliary" an organization?

I read this sentence under the item "stalwarts": the stalwarts of the Ladies' Auxiliary.
but I don't know what "Ladies' Auxiliary" is? Does it exist in your country?

Default Re: Is "Ladies' Auxiliary" an organization?

I'd never heard of the term in the UK. It appears to be used for various societies, many associated with military wives, etc.
