I read a post here asking about the use of 'good to hear from you'.
The reply was that using 'nice to hear from you' is better than 'good to hear from you'
I've always used 'Good to hear from you' Is that wrong?and if so what are the uses of 'good to hear from you'

Both are correct. However, I would say that 'nice to hear from you' is warmer, more friendly. Good to hear from you is more business like.

If I say to a friend 'good to hear from you' after not contacting me for a while would that imply that I am upset?



If I said good to hear from you to a friend.Would that seem rude?
