    Can we use the word let in this sentence?

    She lets me do things...or should it be "She let me do things". The subject is singular, hence should take singular verb...just confused..Thanks!

    hi! : ) one of my friends told me that "let" is an exeption..He finds it awkward to say HE/SHE LETS..I really don't know...thanks for replying...
