Participles I have a question, if someone could help me, please. How would I give the present participle of a word? For example, if I had the base form of the word "become", how would I make its present participle?

Teacher You add -ing, removing the letter 'e' if it is the last letter. you also doublt the final letter if the verb has one syllable and ends with a single consonat after a single vowel.
It is the present particple, and not the gerund, when it is a main verb with the auxiliary verb 'be' or when it is used as an adjective.
