Word "secret" is uncountable, isn't it?
So how can you say sentences such as: "Keep it a secret" or "It's a secret", while "secret" is uncountable?
Or is it countable?
Advice is uncountabe too, isn't it? Can we say "she gave me an advice"? Or just "some piece of advice"?
"secret" is countable. You can have more than one, right?
EX: It is a secret. ("It" is singular)
EX: Keep it a secret. ("it" is singular)
EX: I've got a few secrets, whereas my friends has many secrets. (plural)
"advice" requires a quantifier; e.g., piece of.![]()
EX: Could you give me some advice?
