| I have to write a letter for my LETTER WRITING course, and i don't know how i should write it. the topic is the beneath line: ***Yesterday you wrote a letter to a friend refusing an invitation to go to his birthday party, because you promissed your mom to be with her as she goes to visit a doctor. but now, you find you are free to go, because your mom's appointment is cancelled. write a letter explaining how this happened and inquire whether it will still be possible to take part in his birthday party.*** i need yioour urgent help Matilda |

| Layout- informal. I think what you have to do here is to sound very apologetic and wonder whether it would now be all right to go, how sad you'd been to decline and how wonderful it would be to go. As it's to a friend, just write normally. |
